You have to feel for Flegs here. He's obviously set the platform for it to some extent, but they clearly scrutinise him on every play and basically loses a lot of his hard earned wages from it. In this case, 3k for a clumsy bit of bad luck that really would have not been looked at if Tino hadn't stayed down. I don't know, I don't think you can really "coach" that out of him or deter him from repeating it in this case.

Once again, if it were consistently applied to every player across every minute of play, I would be much more accepting of such things.

Yep, I wrote as much. What choice does he have though? Billy Walters did something pretty much the same earlier on Tino in the same game and didn't cop a report, let alone a fine. It's not really fair on Flegs

Yeah, but it's not like Raiders have been putting away strong teams either. They have won 4 of their past 5 but they have been against struggling teams and teams hit with injuries.

If we turn up and play like we did in the second half against Titans, plus the added advantage of playing at home, this game is very winnable.

It's going to come down to whether the Broncos turn up or not. We have a tendency to struggle after a bye.

We'll destroy them. We won't lose too many between here and the final round. As long as the Haas saga ends early.

I dunno - there's a whiff about the Raiders, much like the Broncos. Both with a bit of form - neither team convinced they're the real deal yet. I think it's a genuine coin toss.

You guys are playing well, I would not be surprised if you get up in this one, particularly if we lose a few after origin as expected.

We need to start well in this game. If we don't, we're going to give the Raiders the momentum they need and when they have that momentum, they are a hard team to stop. Look at what they did the last time they played at Suncorp.

The positive thing is, we're a much better team in the second half than what we are in the first half so if we're leading at half time then I think we'll come away with the win. If we're not leading, we need to make sure the score is close because the chances of us running down another 20 point deficit are next to none.

Hopefully we're at full strength and we aren't missing anyone.

Raiders are building some good form but their biggest weekness is our biggest strength - second halves.

The roosters were terrible today but If they just got through their sets and didn’t kick so poorly they would’ve won that game. The Raiders are horrible in the late stages of the game. Hopefully we aren’t chasing too many points by that stage though. If there’s less than 6 points between us going into the second half I’m pretty confident of a win.

In other words, there’s no way in wrathful Odin’s Valhalla that we lose this game.

basically it's a 1st half team vs a second half team, we keep it close or even lead at halftime I don't see anything other then a 12+ win.

Hopefully we get atleast Cobbo or Staggs for this game, it's a saturday game so there is a decent chance of them backing up depending on their game load.

Cobbo is leading the NRL for errors and Staggs is 3rd so I imagine they are going to be targeted quite a bit. I can see their workload being more than what they're used to.

Hard to say, Raiders have shown glimpses of what they can do. This will be a close game, I hope it is anyway. I don't mind the Raiders when we're not playing them.

Fogeryy will be better for the run this week and he'll take some pressure of Wighton.

I have no issue with those stat's. With Cobbo, how many of those are competing for the ball in an attacking position? Stat's can be easily manipulated alot of the time.

For example a player can kick for the most metres in the comp, means jack shit if its always down the fullbacks throat. A player could miss barely any tackles, means nothing is he keeps getting found out and doesn't get close enough to miss.
