POST GAME [Round 14, 2026] - Broncos vs Titans

It hard to win a premiership, let alone winning them back-to-back. You need alot to go your way (including injuries). Penrith just got everyone thinking its easy.

Penrith doing what they did is the outlier - no one's doing that again.

Can we have 30% less media scrutiny and hype too please?
And maybe a dash of more 50/50 calls going our way?
30% less scrutiny from the company that owns us, that opposition fans believe somehow is an advantage? I’ll add it to the list.

Can’t do the 50/50 calls though, that’s up to the big guy upstairs, PVL.

Edit: If you have an issue with moderation, take it to staff chat

To be fair, if you offered fans of most clubs a premiership followed by a season like this they’d take it

Yeah.......I was expecting us to go ok again this year, I was at least expecting top 8, next year was to be the tough year with changes to the halves and losing Haas.

If Madge doesn't find some forward depth then next year could be real ugly for us................... and him.

it’s true. Every team now has to go at least back to back to be considered a success thanks to Penrith. Anything else is a flash in the pan. But the old trusty premiership hangover is what really exists.

Don't disagree with effort, but he's just not effective. Worst second tackle carry in the game, doesn't have the acceleration or strength to take it flat, so he crabs across field and generates zero momentum for third tackle and then your set is ****ed. Example of low footy iq is stepping back into Walsh on the linebreak in the first half instead of holding his line to attract the fullback
How can you say he isn't effective when he is our biggest metre making back, doesn't really make sense. Karapani is consistent and fairly low risk he would be the last bloke I would point the finger at, rarely drops the ball or bombs a try and makes tough runs. This game he has 3 line breaks, 234 m and 93 post contact metres. Jesse Arthur's in comparison made 124 metres and 3 errors. This is a regular weekly occurrence mind you

I want changes that matter!

New logo, blacker jersey, less Alex Glenn, Paix playing for Wynnum, no racist “supporters” allowed on the forum, more Friday night games, only one team welcome in this city, clothing brand releases are only allowed in the off season and shave every players head.I think you put the quotation marks around the wrong word.

@Sproj
Where did I blame the ref in the live game thread?
If we win it just papers over some cracks. If we lose it is totally the ref’s fault and not ours.
If you can’t see the satire in my comment then I don’t know what to say

The Mam bashing on the Hail Mary kick is a load of rubbish, it should never have got to that point, the tries they conceded were as soft as they come, against one of the worst teams in the competition, all straight up the middle.
Just because we sucked for 79 minutes doesn’t excuse one of the most brain dead moments I’ve seen in first grade

Mate penrith are still ****ing doing it, they are clear favorites this year and if it wasn't for us beating them last year they would of got it last year as well. ****ing ridiculous

Not the best time to be doing a forward rebuild with 2 new teams coming in.
