I’m not sure anyone has blamed the ref for that one. I actually think this guy is the best ref in the game. Seems to be proper honest…. He won’t last.

I have the completely opposite view. He is really not that good. He gets involved a lot but does nothing with it. Sideway flat footed runs which generate no momentum. Also fairly low footy IQ
 
Do we move Mam on and pair Pezet and Duffy in the halves? Wouldn’t be opposed to it tbh

Piakura is such a beast, when he is on the filed I have so much confidence we can win or at least be competitive. Call it the Piakura affect

yes it should have never gotten to that point but every other starting play maker in the comp wins that game from the position mam was in. It was such a brain explosion.

I mean I get people are emotional immediately after a loss, and we're at the point where we really can't afford to lose games. But you really need to divorce the result from the performance. We played better this game than we did in the wins against Tigers and Bulldogs earlier this year

We need consistency and reliability and they may provide that. They probably dont have the same ceiling as Ezra, but i dont think they will be as rocks and diamonds as him either.
 
Why does it take for a deficit before this team gets switched on? We are a broken record.

That aside - Titans didn't deserve that match winner at all. We completely dominated the final 20 and our defence for the previous 5 GC sets was seriously momentum building for our season. Within a 10 second play a hail mary play flips the script and its now season over.
Sport can be cruel.

Losing to Titans and Dragons at Suncorp in back to back weeks.
Sack the lot.

**** the NRL in 2026. Lucky the World Cup is on...
