POST GAME Round 14 - Raiders vs Broncos

The saddest thing is there is hardly an argument to sway a players mind should we need.
At least the Dragons, Cows, Warriors players know change is happening, our guys get told to wait until a review at the end of the year and maybe things will happen

Yep can you imagine these guys ending this horror season only to know they need to rock up back to pre season in a couple of months to go through the same bullshit all over again.... I guarantee if Seibold isn’t sacked there’ll be some players in trouble with the law in some way during the off season.

Seibold wont be here next year. There is no way he keeps the job barring us winning every game for the rest of the season.
He has several of the worst records at the club under his belt from this season alone.
If through some inept fuckery he is still coach next year, expect a mutiny and mass exodus of our players, and decimation of the Broncos fanbase.

Many weeks ago the clear deterioration and decline in the teams mental state was identified and defined, along with solutions. Nothing has been done.

The defence has been appalling all year. Nothing has been done.

For these 2 reasons alone, the entire coaching staff has to go. They are dumber than dumb. If there is a shred of integrity and honour in them, they should all resign now

I’m sure that’s true but it need to happen now, the players deserve to have the final rounds to show the future coach what they can offer.

I cannot think of any benefit in not sacking Seibold tomorrow, either for him or the club. Pay him out, admit the error and start the future immediately.

I have grave concerns it hasn’t happened because it’s not going to happen...the silence is deafening

That effort in the lead up to Cotric's second try was disgraceful.

I had to look at how it all transpired.

In the lead up Paix tries to take Tapine around the legs, then Carrigan comes in with a lazy effort which is followed up by more ordinary efforts from Fifita and Haas. With the Broncos stripped in the middle, Harawira-Naera just runs through while Fifita and Carrigan try to get onside. Boyd makes a good tackle, but can't hold on to complete it and the play extends. Brisbane can't get off their line and Cotric easily forces his way over.

It all started with that soft defence in the middle and they were among the Broncos better performers on the night.

****, I knew it was starting when the arm grabs started on Cotric as he took a typical winger's early-count run and brushed off 4 defenders while running sideways. From there everyone panicked and started running backwards and second guessing themselves and the points poured in. There was no one there to tell them all to just harden the **** up and put their bodies in to the defence.

The only reason the stats looked even at the end was because we spent a good 10 minutes of the first half with all the posession on the Raider's line. Stats from just the second half, most importantly field position, would be telling.

The boyd that was sacked from fullback was back. He should have been dropped in 2017. Maybe if that happens the trajectory of this team changes. Mediocrity has been tolerated for too long.

Carrigan haas dearden can look in the mirror and not flinch. Everyone else has work to do.

Dust off this team of players that retired last year and they wipe the floor with Brisbane.

I think the administrators of this forum could start opening the "post game" thread at the beginning of the second half of games, given that appears to be the extent that our team plays for.

I actually did think about it.
