Season over, pretty much officially now. Yes, yes mathematical possibilities and all that rubbish but we don't even look close to it and still another stupid origin to go. We might scrape in in 8th but that's all we'll be doing.

Questions need to be asked and a review needs to be done about what has gone so wrong (aside from the injuries) because this is going no differently to 2024 and that resulted in the coach being sacked. Maguire's better GF result will buy him a bit more time but they'll want to come out way better in 2027.
 
Absolute cluster**** of a season. You wouldn't think Madge and half the team would be under pressure so soon but here we are.

Reynolds done, Hunt done, Arthars done, Haas gone, JGos useless, Duffy and Verhoeven ruined, Mariner and Jensen may never be the same players again.....I mean what else can go wrong?
 
Thank goodness the Dragons started so badly. Still unlikely they get 4 more wins and turn around the points differential.
 
Seems pretty obvious that he's lost the dressing room. This isn't a side that is playing for their coach, eerily reminiscent of how Manly were playing under Seibold.
Question is, how did it get here? I do wonder how much of a role the media has played in all of this. It didn't matter what was going on, how we were playing or how many times the players denied it, the media constantly pushed the narrative that the players were off him.

That's what the media does. They manifest their own stories into reality by just refusing to let up.
 
They just look mentally and physically drained. Too many players at the end of their careers, too many at the start and just a bunch of QCup players in a kill or be killed era of the game.

Tough on the fans but this is the product at the moment.

Not getting a lot of luck either just quietly.
