POST GAME [Round 15, 2026] - Broncos vs Rabbitohs

Yeah, thats what stands out to me in those photos. Everyone is standing around waiting someone else to do the work. No one pushing up supporting hunt. The team has checked out
Yeah this is the frustrating thing to watch.

No one is running decoys or support plays. The only person who ever looks like getting the ball is the guy who is going to get the ball, and in PRiki’s case even the person intended to get the ball doesn’t look like getting the ball.

The effort off the ball in defence and attack is putrid. Zero sense of urgency from anyone ever.

I’ve bagged Billy Walters as much as anyone but this is his biggest strength. He competes on everything. You don’t see that from anyone else at the moment except Haas and usually Xavier.

You’d be okay losing if everyone was competing on every play

I had well and truly turned off by this point, but from the screenshots it looked like a yardage set and he was coming back onside??

Long time lurker, first time poster. Go easy.

Injuries and poor form aside, the thing that stood out to me was our lack of any adjustments or change of plan, particularly when whatever strategy we seemingly have going into games, isn't working.

I counted 4 or 5 times, particularly in that first half, where the first three-four tackles of our sets consisted of the same ineffective running from the same outside backs. No adjustments to line speed, direction, just the same, one-out runs for a paltry 6 metres. Something about continuing to do the same thing over and over, and expecting different results? Cant quite put my finger on the word...

This is what is the most concerning for me, not just a team bereft of confidence, but seemingly bereft of ideas and effort as well.

Talty is good to have when you need someone to just go out there with another top line prop next to him and just make his tackles and runs for 15/20 mins while your other top line prop gets a spell. The dirty work, you barely even notice it.

Up his minutes and ask more of him like we are having to right now, and this is what we have. Loved what he did for us last season but above is likely why he wasn't playing NRL until we signed him.

I'd say the same for someone like Arthars tbh. Game or 2 here and there when the rest of the top spine is playing. He'll be fine, he'll finish some tries, do his carries. Ask him to ruck it out with tough carries week after week, and defend either at centre or wing with inexperienced players around him, it goes to shit.

You know what? I think you're...

Looking at the game stats. Dummy half runs:
Souths - 15
Brisbane - 1

**** paix off into the sun. Do we blame Barrett? Madge? Cam smith isn't there to coach but why isn't the greatest hooker of all time not pointing this out?!?!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I was just at the airport when these guys came back in.
Couple of observations, HGR has an obvious limp.
Said "good game, good effort" to karps and "good gane" to peeks, said "hard luck madge" or "bad luck madge" and he said thanks mate and slapped me on the shoulder.
I also said good game to xman, but he had headphones in.
Ezra was moving about on his own for the most part. The guys in general seemed to be hanging out in little groups, separate from each other.
I got a selfie with hunt after he just came out of the loo. If he didn't wash his hands, there's a good chance I was the next thing he touched after he touched his dick. Something to tell the grandkids.

If I recall correctly that one run was HG Riki and was awesome!

Souths 227 runs to our 156 just says it all, you just can't win football like that, 33 missed tackles compared to 15. Only 2 forwards breaking 100 meters, and once again I do not see the point of Gosiewski in the side, 30 minutes for 29 meters! P Riki a starting prop, 49 min for 57 meters, out pack when Origin out and the injuries are a pack of cats, and the worst part is this will be the pack next year, there is no Hass running 150+, its going to be these guys.
