Yeah, I think the players have spent too much time under Ricky and they're burnt out. Either he goes or the roster gets a major overhaul. I think they'd be better off with the latter, too many old players in their squad.

I'm sure his thinking is NSW has done well with a fragile injury prone fullback at centre so QLD should as well. But Ponga just doesn't have the size to play there.

IMO Ponga at 1 or 7 or nothing. Brimson has to be pushing him at 1 though.

Your forwards were really good tonight. Everything built on their backs. You should be happy with their attitude. A gold coast team playing on a chilly Saturday night in Canberra is never motivated but tonight was an exception I suppose. Canberra weren't that terrible. Good solid win going into a bye.
