What's the general mood around Chad and Tom signing? I don't rate either but I think Chad in particular is a shocking signing for the reported 800k p.a./3years.

Let's not forget that every dirty wrestling tackle of the modern era has been introduced into the game by the Storm.

They introduced the grapple tackle, half nelson, chicken wing, rolling pin, hip drop, crusher, crocodile rolls, cannon balls and ankle twists etc. That's not counting what they did to Alex McKinnon, and how they behaved after it.

The majority of the Cowboys Stampede will agree with everything the club says, and they give the club the benefit of the doubt that they've signed the right two players for the right price. I

I am in the minority that are not thrilled on signing either of them, but as a Cowboy fan, there comes a point where I have to want them to do because their individual success is winning games of footy for my team. I just don't have a good gut feeling though.

I don't rate Tom at all but I think he's at least worth a gamble at a reported 300k. Chad you know what you get which has some value (400k max) so I just don't understand the signing by Payten but I do hope it works out somewhat. Rugby league is no fun when all 3 Queensland teams are rubbish, Broncos being the clear worst obviously.
