Would have taken any old win prior to kick-off.

Some good attacking footy, but also some really dumb plays and silly errors. To be expected with a patchwork team.

First half we sucked defensively but managed to sort it out at ht.

I normally bag the shit outta niu but after his initial mistake he played really well.

Mam was great today too, save for a couple of questionable kicks. Felt like he took the lead today instead of Reynolds, which is promising.

Kennedy, staggs, hoskins and hoeter all played well also.

Sooo many errors (should have won that by 50), but a wins a win. Good effort with 10 players out. newbies stepped up

The depth we have this season is a real game changer along with the shrewd signings.

With so many players out, finding any way to win is all you can ask for.
We did exactly what we needed to do in the circumstances and will likely be a huge win later in the year in the race for the top 8.
Hopefully builds some confidence and form for Staggs.
Impressive attacking game from Niu - would be great to have him as a viable depth option.
