The Broncos have to make a statement and sack whoever our defence coach is on Monday. This passive defence where they don't move up, almost refuse to hit in tackles and where nearly everyone goes high instead of the first tackler going low has to stop. It's not working.

We are easily the worst team in the comp for ball handling and defensive line speed.

Same can be said for defence but it’s probably more of a vicious cycle we have to get out of. We never wrestle and push the limits of the ref and concede so so many metres. And it’s no wonder we have no line speed as we’re always on the back foot. But then once again we are always pinged when we try to do so, because we always try so hard not to concede penalties. I think we need to push the envelope more, maybe concede a sin bin here and there along the way. But we can’t keep being so soft, it reaps no long term rewards. The best teams play on the edge that fine line
