7 Broncos losses in a row with Paix as the hooker the majority of the time :PWas any of it because of Paix though? Because we can twist stats to say anything without actually watching the game.

Also, on the try Tedesco set up with the grubber, Walsh initially tracks the ball behind the defensive line when the roosters start going left, but as soon as the direction changes back to the right, he clocks off and starts walking and ball watching. Teddy then grubbers it through to clean air and an easy try. When the Roosters kicked off the second half Walsh was walking very slowly to towards the corner post with his back to the kick. He turned around when the ball was coming down.
Broncos are up 16-12 just heard from your coach and need a win.
The set ended with Walsh kicking it into the back of a Bronco and Broncos are under pressure again. Billy Smith scores two minutes later.
How good a job did Qld do in game two on Payne- 69m in 54 minutes and 33 tackles- 0 missed.
Last night 207m in 80 minutes and 44 tackles- 0 missed.
His hugs are an issue, no matter how much people try to act like he’s perfect. We are getting dominated in every tackle and laid on afterwards. We get crunched often and laid on no matter how dominant the tackle may be. Our props need to do more.He was immense last night, just didn't have enough back up. He had 3 offloads too. Don't care if he doesn't smash people in defence, don't care if he doesn't play well for NSW. He's been great for the Broncos and he's possibly the only one who can hold his head high last night.
We'll need Carrigan to get back into his form from 2 or so years ago next year.
His primary job is the be the main engine in attack, which he does extremely well. The fact that he doesn't miss any tackles is already a big bonus. No matter how good a player is, you can't expect them to do everything. That's what the rest of the side is for.His hugs are an issue, no matter how much people try to act like he’s perfect. I’d let Haas go tomorrow. They can either give us someone or we can top up Willison or get Smoothy back. I don’t care, as long as we have a plan for the future, which Haas isn’t involved in.
He’s already gone. And we are wasting a spot on a “main engine” when he’s a ****ing monster who cuddles people. It’s not too much to ask a prop to put a bit fear into the opposition. His primary job is the be the main engine in attack, which he does extremely well. You're right that he's no longer a part of the future and the Broncos are no longer in finals contention, but just letting him go when he's won numerous player of the year awards feels like poor form.

Barnett ran for 190m last week and is more of an on field leader compared to Payne. As long as Barnett stays fit, I honestly don't think we're going to lose much next year, especially if we can make use of the 400-600k we're saving and sign a 2rf or two. He’s already gone. Yep - gold medal for consistently putrid commentary. What really got in my craw tonight was listening to the Fox commentators just ride the Rorters for a win all night. Talk about being biased and just plain shit at their job. Sometimes I really pine for Rabs and Sterlo and their impartial commentary.
Another 5 or so of our starting 13 out again tonight. What can you do?
Will be a bit surprised if his fitness suddenly turns a corner at his age.Barnett ran for 190m last week and is more of an on field leader compared to Payne. As long as Barnett stays fit, I honestly don't think we're going to lose much next year,
There's three clubs that have had more players/games lost due to injury then the Broncos. Storm, Rabbitohs and Eels. Warriors are only one game behind.Call it excuses or whatever. But we still have 7 starters out plus X going down at the start of the game making it 8. (yes 2-3 are way out of form and should be punted into the sun but they're still starters and what was trained/prepared for in pre-season.)
I'd like to see how any other team would deal with the injury adversity we've had this year.
But we actually put in an ok amount of effort last night. Roosters had 2 outs in comparison btw.

Yeh he def had a defensive error on that try. Was walking and not in position, needs to be out the back whenever it's close to last to clean up kicks. He got close to caught out at another point in this game where I believe walker did the same thing but he got back just in timeAlso, on the try Tedesco set up with the grubber, Walsh initially tracks the ball behind the defensive line when the roosters start going left, but as soon as the direction changes back to the right, he clocks off and starts walking and ball watching. He is out of position so much when we are on our line. Grubbering behind our line is almost always a try.
