PRE-GAME [Round 18, 2026] - Broncos vs Sharks

I mean I doubt he got up at 6am and decided to have a beer before training. But yeah not having your car rego’d when you are making more than the average person……wtf?
Isn’t this his second off field issue with us?

So Jetski broke ribs, X is out for concussion protocols and Tawha had ankle surgery after that non hip drop. Add to that Payne and Pat out for Origin.

Our pack for this game is going to be all time.

Gojiewski and Tawful are no losses, probably better they are out no matter who replaces them. Willison is obviously a massive loss.

I hear what you are saying, but when those 2 keep having to play, what does it say about what is left behind them?

After watching J.Hunt in person for WM on Sunday, he wasn't screaming get me back in the Broncos team, yet he is probably going to be playing good mins this weekend.

8. Talty
9. Paix
10. P.Riki
11. Piakura
12. Riki
13. Rogers?

14. Mozer
15. J Hunt
16. Legitimately who is left? (Semu if fit?)
17. Legitimately who is left?

Ben Hunt or Ezra are going to be have to play through the middle somewhere at this point.

As Chris Fagan says (Lions' reigning 2 time premiership coach), injuries bring opportunities and sometimes you find players stepping up that you didn't think were ready yet. This happened on the way to our second flag last year when we had a similar injury list to the Broncs and still won the thing with a bunch of kids in the team.

The Broncos kids have not stepped up like the Lions kids though .

Buk - passable debut . Dropped the ball when in the clear . Needs to bulk up .

Coates - caught putting sticky spray on his hands when a try scoring opportunity came .

Nio - gets folded on kick returns and drops the ball regularly . Not ready to defend at centre .

Semu - only plays 10 minutes then needs a rest .

Not gonna win a lot of games with that going on .

Delouise has a broken leg and hasn't played since round three.

I suspect Bradley will debut for the Broncs this week, he's been elevated to full squad.

I thought I'd post his comments.

Tupou Francis said:

“It’s such a blessing to be at the Broncos, I can’t wait to hit the ground running in the NRL one day,” he said.

“The development that the Broncos do for their junior is second to none really.

“The Broncos have trusted me since I was a kid.

“They gave me my first contract when I was 15 and they were the only club that was interested in me at the time.

“I definitely have the hunger to play NRL. It’s been a dream of mine since I was four years old. I love this game and I want to live out my dream, so playing for the Broncos in the NRL is the end goal.”
