Like last week the effort was pretty good for the majority I thought. Unfortunately that won't win games especially when you're not able to hold onto the ball. Shibasaki should have been benched after that "effort" on their second try, embarrassing stuff. Should have a stronger team back after the bye so hopefully we can pick up a few wins

Any game where you give up possession twice playing the ball you have no one to blame but yourself. Attention to detail has gone out the window.

Madge managed the bench well. We had multiple players blooded, which we all called for, and we didn't lose by 50.

I saw many positives tonight, because my expectations were low.

2nd row is a big issue, and our go forward. I do believe this can be mitigated with a crafty hooker; Mozer, and Walters.

I believe 27 will be a great year for us. Madge is no fool. Much fitness shown tonight.

Course, I accept that.

I dont see how we are improved next year when we lose one of our best ever. we need MB and JP to be firing.

Its even worse because the sharks were dreadful.

Laughed just now reading through the live match thread seeing the names that bitch about Ezra saying not much the halves could have done tonight.. at least be ****ing consistent. Hunt couldn't have played a worse game if he tried.

P.Riki and Talty are ****ing terrible. Talty gives away some of the most brain dead penalties of anyone in the league. Paix not much better in that department.

Shiba and Anderson were woeful, Hunt as above was tragic. Staggs had another night to forget as well. Just another great night out at Suncorp.

A horrific game to watch live amplified by a bunch of drunk, ****wit, bogan Sharks supporters sitting behind me in the no drinking section. Good times.

In the positives, a meal at the Kedron Park Hotel and then a shuttle to and from the game was great.

I legitimately think the only team they beat tonight is us. They were so poor.

I dont intend to rewatch the game to confirm, and its nothing new, but we gotta do something about our ruck for 27. Way way too often we end up with 1 marker from a 3 man tackle, with 1 or 2 left on the ground, or 1 on the ground and 1 called out not square. I dont think theres another team I see struggle with this part of the game as much as us.

On 2 man tackles we even end up with 0 markers at times. Like basic principles of defending just not happening.

Just gotta say wtf was with offloading to a sharks player while shibasaki(?was it him) stood there with his arms in the air and didn’t even attempt a tackle while said sharks player jogged around him for an easy try.

That was worst play of the season….from any team….imo.
