POST GAME [Round 18, 2026] - Broncos vs Sharks

Yeah we've actually had a good whistle from the Dragons game onwards, but we just have A LOT more issues than just the refs.
These people are trolls right? Theres a few new ones with no profile pictures acting like the refs love us. I need to see how many times they’ve posted #PenaltyBroncos to their twitter pages before I make judgment

The attack is completely non-threatening. They go through the shift and then the centre runs at 45 degrees to the sideline and runs out of room.

Duffy and Hunt ran three times between them and Paix and Mozer three times. I've already said Duffy was on the wing for a set- and he wasn't injured.

Exit sets we just send guys to get smashed.

In defence that Shibasaki effort to stop Katoa's chase was horrid, you just can't do that. He was jogging at 50%.

You can talk injuries as much as you want but that effort in defence of a kick and dropping the ball three times playing it have nothing to do with injuries- they're three Test players.

There some putting in effort and there are some that are phoning it in. In today's game if you are even 5% off in effort areas you'll get ****ing smacked. Staggs is getting owned by every centre in the comp at the moment and it isn't the first time this year that Shibasaki looked like he couldn't be ****ing bothered.

Yep the whole season has been a disaster..😢😢

This is what I don't get. We do this EVERY week and we haven't made a single ****ing metre for ages and we just constantly play on the back foot.

Mariner and Karapani were doing well at the end of last year with the occasional cameo from Staggs and Shibasaki but other than that little period, we get absolutely dominated. It's a massive area we have struggled with for a while now and need to address moving forward or we are just wasting our time.

Walsh and Carrigan don't appear close anymore. They used to be tight but that seems to have dried up.

Maybe Carrigan didn't like all the media hype the media gave Walsh during the Finals & Grand Final.

Who knows. But they are all playing like shit.

This!

Injuries have never been an excuse. Weren't an excuse in 2024 for Kev, the buck stops with madge to be frank. Im not saying he gets sacked because I agree with others, who else would do it?

I think we are going to be entering a fair few years of rebuilding. Reyno retiring and Mam turning out to be complete trash, losing haas etc.

How did we get to a place where we have a huge hole in our middle/back row depth. Its like we have just signed halves and hookers for the last 5 years.

Funny thing about Carrigan he was actually playing great till he got suspended. Then he came back playing absolutely shyte.

We’d struggle to beat a high school side at the moment with the meters we make from a kick return.

A horrific game to watch live amplified by a bunch of drunk, ****wit, bogan Sharks supporters sitting behind me in the no drinking section. Good times.

In the positives, a meal at the Kedron Park Hotel and then a shuttle to and from the game was great.
Were you in my section then? 310? I am in the no drinking section and the best thing about the game being over was never having to listen to the bogan bitch of a Sharks supporter behind me ever again. Cackling witch screaming “Go Kennnadeee”

I’m not sure how teams keep hitting us high and doing illegal tackle after illegal tackle and keeping players on the field. Some of the other stuff might be 50/50 but there’s no way we give away these penalties and keeping players on the field. I don’t care how good or bad we are, we aren’t winning games when teams can take our heads off and it might be a penalty at most. The NRL’s negligence when it comes to the Brisbane Broncos is dangerous and downright cheating.
