Injuries have never been an excuse. Weren't an excuse in 2024 for Kev, the buck stops with madge to be frank. Im not saying he gets sacked because I agree with others, who else would do it?

I think we are going to be entering a fair few years of rebuilding. Reyno retiring and Mam turning out to be complete trash, losing haas etc.

How did we get to a place where we have a huge hole in our middle/back row depth. Its like we have just signed halves and hookers for the last 5 years.

I was critical of Mam throughout the season but the last couple of games before his injury he looked good coming off the bench. Looked like a rocket was fired up him. Lots of effort which we all like to see.
 
It also doesn’t help that it seems footy is the side job for half our team. We have chicken shop man, Reynolds, hass and Walsh all with clothing brands. Walsh also with a golf thing. I feel like the elite players aren’t doing all these side quests…
 
The sad part really is that the Sharks where actually not that great. They where kind of bad. And we where far worse. Was really surprised it wasn't a cricket score at half time. Basic fundamentals when your season is on the line. God help me this team is hard to watch sometimes

One tier up I think, in 712. Absolute deadshits. I legit thought sitting in the no drinking section would be better. Nope. These ****wits loaded up in the bar before hand, left 5mins before half time to sink some more and then came back 5mins into the second half.

Tell ya what, staggs is an awe inspiring word smith of a captain.
Asked in the presser what the rest of the year will be like once we get troops back, he said something like "yeah i have belief in the group, and when we get guys back and start winning for the rest of the year, and we'll have the best days of our lives"
All delivered in a weak monotone, very inspiring stuff

Yep sharks were crap. We were crapier.
 
Ive been thinking this since it was annoucned, but given they just won the premiership, ive kept it to myself.

I think one of the sliding doors moments in this clubs history was not walking up to both Hunt & Arey and saying "brilliant stuff guys, thx for everything - you wont be needed next season".

And then right after announcing that Pezet was joining the club to form a halves partnership with Duffy.

Even as I write it, it sounds revisionist.

But i think that would have completely chaged this season.

Oh well...at least its mostly happening next year!

At the very least one of them. Maybe if you could plant Reynolds brain into Hunts body you might get something then.
 
Watching the other games this weekend why does the 10 look so much bigger for other teams and they aren’t tackled the second the ball is played?
