Brisbane being a good defensive side is a massive myth.

We're 'good' in defence because we attack to defend. When the opposition has the ball in our red zone it's basically try time.

Brisbane's defense would appear a lot better if its attack was anything more than a sluggish side to side crawl followed by a 'kick and hope' on the last tackle ... Honestly, it's a case of Brisbane's attack putting too much pressure on its defense ..

There's no way Hodges being taken out should've been a penalty. It was a face ball which for all money looked like it could go to him. Vatuvei had every right to assume he was going to get the ball and hit him. It wasn't late by any means. No dramas with it.

But they've penalised similar situations like that all year, like in the 1st origin when hodges was penalised for taking someone out who didnt have the ball

Hoffman seriously has no brain, he never ever gets himself in the right place when we are trying to either put on a set move or when we get a bit of broken play through the middle. He needs to watch tapes of someone like Brett Hodgson and how good he was at supporting up the middle and then watch the way Boyd used to sweep across the field for the Dragons. He seriously poses no threat for us in attack outside of some elusive kick returns.
