POST GAME [Round 2, 2024] Broncos vs Rabbitohs

If Reynolds is out just bring Madden in. Our edges are new and learning to gel, don't want to mess that up by moving Walsh et al around.
Walsh is not going to be 7 any time soon lol, that would only happen after every backup half option is injured at the same time at minimum.

Could even see Kevvie trying Sailor at 7 before Walsh tbh.

The way Walsh plays outside defensive positioning the rest wouldn't change much tbh, he is playing like a half in attack as it is right now.

I don't think there is huge harm to see how it goes but only in the right scenario to allow it happen(like our backup halfs being out etc).
He’d be brilliant at 6/7 , I just think when you can give him a step more in time as a FB he’s too dangerous. He’s too much like slater, you wouldn’t put him at half if you had a choice.

Madden got better by the game last season, give him a nudge.

I have to disagree on this, he is more Locky than Slater, he just has the speed of Slater when he was young, Slater didn't have the passing or kicking game like Walsh did in his early 20s, Walsh has the best of both when at Fullback atm.

Slater developed the skills much later in his career, Walsh is 21, he is basically Lockyer with speed age for age.

I don't know, that shit looked loose when the physio was testing the ligaments.

I think Reyno is facing some time on the sideline, more than just a few weeks.

I agree, I like that option from 1, it’s a freak option but yea please.

But yeah, after reflection, he’s definitely more like Lockey than slater.

Posters were complaining about reynos form before the injury… hasn’t had a good game in a minute…
Could be a blessing

I can see the hesitation on why people don't want to move him to the halves because he is soo fast and fullback allows that more to thrive, but his skills alone could have him as a top tier 7 right now even tbh.

But playmaking fullback is a cheat code in the current game imo you can't move him.

Both of those tries from Mariner, Oates does not score those. He doesn't even come close.

We have a genuine speedster for kicks behind the line, I'm willing to sacrifice the metres Oates makes for that. And that chip and chase try, the confidence to even try it..

I would like to think he's putting the debate to bed on whether Oates should be in the side over him.

He doesn’t score those tries but he puts in elsewhere… they aren’t the same player…

Not saying he should be picked over Deine is just an apples oranges scenario.

It’s a good position to be in… Slowates is a walk up starter at most clubs
