PRE-GAME [Round 20, 2026] - Broncos vs Panthers

Wasn’t he brought in to help with maintaining elite mentality in order to go back to back? Well if so he should be first sacked
Apparently to mentor our senior players.

I’d rather he mentored the blokes who don’t know how to play so good than the ones that already do.

Also an expert at the wrestle, I reckon at least 50% of the tackles he made ended with him having the bloke in a headlock type hold around the “chest” for no penalty.

^^. ^^

Also as I already said I don’t think he can take the blame for any of our outs this season……..unless he’s been putting them into submission holds at training?

My only concern with Mozer at the moment is he is very scrawny for a player expected to defend in the middle.

Yep , he got bumped off , and left on the ground attempting to tackle a prop in his last game .
I don`t have faith in him defence wise . In attack I can see he has merit .

God damn it. Now the headline is going to be about how panthers ended our season. 😢

And with us gone, so to is the only team that could stop them. They'll romp it in this season and removing us off the board is in their interests next week, they will see this as the biggest game of the season.

We're on the board?

You been into Nashy's stash mate?

Yeah nah I don’t think they see us as a threat. Cleary to come off early.

To be honest, if the NRL decides that the Panthers are going to win it, even the Broncos won't be able to stop that. But I don't think they will.

I'm going off early here, my original call in the pre-season was the Roosters for the premiership, which may still happen, but the fairytales here would be either the Warriors or Dolphins. And by fairytales, I mean by what is best for the NRL to justify their recent expansion.

WARRIORS: Obviously this would be to legitimise the almost-certain addition of a 2nd NZ team to the competition. The PR campaign has been in overdrive, especially during Magic Round.

DOLPHINS: What better way to cement the idea of expansion as a positive for the game than to have the most recent expansion team win it all.

PS. And I have to say this quietly, because it is obviously very controversial, but I haven't ruled out the fact we won the premiership in order to stop hordes of fans jumping ship to AFL.
