POST GAME Round 20 - Broncos vs Panthers

Boyd the only player who seems to care. The rest of them can all **** off for all i care. Waste my hard earn money on membership, loose money on sport tab an these useless pricks dont give a shit. They dont deserve to wear the broncos jersey.

As average as Reed is, the side falls apart without him.
 
Big crowd, at home, last nights result went our way, a chance to slip back into the top four and we serve up that crap.

Its one thing to go down but that effort quite frankly is not good enough. I know things didn't go our way with calls but we were just not interested, as we haven't been for a while.

Blair makes a quick play the ball, Panthers are on the back-foot and Milford has got them in panic mode, Milford runs to the line, looks up...and all he sees is Thaiday running a decoy.

Again, I think people looking for a clean-out are a bit OTT but there's certainly some issues and they need to be addressed.

This squad may have made a grand final, but they were never a championship team.
 
Let me unleash a bit here, come at me if you've got a problem.

We've got probably the most overrated halves in the game. Hunt is incredibly hot and cold. He can put on a good play or do something retarded just as easily. This applies to his general play and to his kicking. It doesn't apply to his drop kicks, because they are always shit.

Milford has got amazing footwork and running game (if he lost some weight again), and can throw a nice pass. But he's got no playmaking brain in him. It's why I was always skeptical about him as a half before. I can't believe he's on track to being the highest paid player.

Our forward pack is equally bad. I've got no idea why they are so easily dominated. And unlike last year they refuse to hit hard too. We really need to buy a couple of good middle third forwards for next year.

Wow what a massive waste of time. I'm on holiday at the moment in Queenstown and went down to a sports bar to watch the game. I found myself agreeing with penrith supporters about why the Broncos are playing terrible. No forward platform whatsoever.
 
As a Broncos fan and as fan of Rugby League broadly I've never been more disillusioned then I am now. Make no mistake, an extremely poor attitude from us lost the game and our season quite frankly. We'll be lucky to sneak into the 8 at this point and in a year where we're supposed to be Premiership favorites, that is very poor.

Our problem is almost obvious, Hodges vs Parker as Captains. The squad respected Hodges, he led from the front and got in your face when you weren't performing. They wanted to win the trophy for him. They didn't, and now Hodges is gone, replaced by a man who while is a great player individually, seems to enjoy having the C next to his name but doesn't like the job of actually captaining. I like Parker, I respect him and everything he's done, but for whatever reason, this squad doesn't think much of him at all and it's hurting our attitude as a group. Bennett is stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment. He has a very talented but fractured footy side and the excuses are running thin without revealing the inner turmoil to the world. We're the exact opposite of Parra at the moment. When they are under immense pressure, they perform to shake it off. We seem to disappear into our shells and wait for someone else to solve our problems for us. It ain't happening.

Milford is still very young and immature as a player and Hunt has plateaued. Why they were so freakish last year and deadpan this year is anyone's guess, but if we really want to keep Milford long term with the belief he'll be a marquee player, it's on Bennett to find the source of their issues now and fix them fast, otherwise even I will begin to regret letting Taylor go.

I'm expecting a heated week for the club as the media circles the wagons wondering if these drug allegations have anything to do with what's going on, and it's going to only make things worse.

I don't think I can watch anymore this season... We'll get pumped next week by the f***en Chooks too... They can all f*** off, forwards are s***, halves are s***, I could do better than Maranta and I havn't played for 15 yrs!!! I wasn't expecting much tonight but wasn't expecting that crap. I've been a member for a bloody long time, I won't be renewing until these pricks can resemble the team I love... These blokes are killing me
 
We're cooked. I hope the cows win it again this year; the thought of cronulla or Melbourne winning the gf is sickening.
 
That's our season over. Maybe next year....
