Haha I'm not prepared to jinx them Pwn! Still quietly confident and I appreciate the effort the boys have put in so far.

I thought Parker, Thaiday, McGuire, Gillett and Macca stood up for us in the first half. Rest have been a little up and down, hopefully like last week they can come up with a big second half.

This match feels like a finals game.

I'm pretty happy with our defense, we started a bit slack but it's been firm since the Blair try. Kicking game is working well too.

Just looking at the stats, we're the better team in the first half. We had 57% possession but alas, Melbourne's defense countered that.

I was really pissed off with their first try. How we let Nielsen of all players to cut through us through dummy half should not be tolerated and it showed the boys had not been doing their homework.

Well done to the team so far. The way Melbourne started, they would have racked up a few tries against most opposition.

The danger as always will be Slater and Smith's speed up the middle as the pack gets tired.

Also, we need more depth on Hodges' side! They seem to have a lot more depth on Reed's side on the left but stand so flat on the right.
