If this decision went against any other club, especially one of the darling Sydney clubs, we wouldn't have heard the end of it. But because it's the Broncos, there has barely been any mention of it.

It was given as a try. You cannot say conclusively that Walsh has a foot in front of that ball.

It's like the bunker forgot that being in line with the ball is still onside.

WTF ! ?

The ball hasn`t hit Shiba`s boot and Reeece is already in front of him .
Look at the line ? Who is closer ?
Nothing to complain about .

What's the rule? I've seen a million interpretations of it. Do both feet need to behind the ball when it's kicked or is it his whole body?

It was the right call, I'd hate for that to go the other way if I were a neutral...ala Tedesco in the very same round.

Both feet as far as I know .

But that screen shot is an open and shut case . Walsh is closer to the line than Shiba .
I got very excited at the time . Then saw the replay . Fair call .
Move on ...

The ball is making contact with Shibasaki's foot at that point.

From the tip of the ball to the line and the tip of Reece's boot to the line, he's not in front.

The tip of the ball ?
When did that become part of the wording of the rules ?

Reece is standing in front of him . End of debate .

We’d come last without Walsh, so hopefully he continues to doom scroll instead of replacing our best player
Maybe we could instead build a squad, rather than hoping one single player could continue to pull us out of the fire?

I’d be happy with a mid fullback then, as long as the overall squad benefitted.

I'm with you. They are measuring inches from a camera angle that is high and behind.
Reece looks in front but if you measure the distance from his boot to the line and the ball to the line then it's impossible to take 1 look at it and say offside.
We don't, however, know what angles the bunker has.
If they are going to overturn onfield decisions that close then they should have a VAR system.

End of the day if you put yourself in the position of pulling out a miracle try on the bell then you probably don't derserve to win and we did not deserve to win last week.
