I feel this will need to be a real statement game. Off the bye, SOO now in the past. I don't know why but I feel the eels always get up for us. Having just watched the Warriors game I feel they might slip up on a game or 2, they got out of the fire today. With out stating the obvious we have to keep winning and winning well to keep pressure on them.

Haas and Jensen trained with the main group today while Arthars trained with a no contact red bib. Tyson Smoothy and Ben Talty are the likely players to drop off the bench, with Xavier Willison and Kobe Hetherington reverting to the bench.

Same as every week... complete above 80% and execute when points present themselves and we win easily.

Issue is our inability to execute... so many bombed opportunities that leave the door open for the opposition.

Need to be ruthless and put a score on teams early to break their spirit.

Hass and Jensen back. First time full strength?

"Broncos 58 - Eels 3"

"they are one of the worst sides ever in rugby league history"

"Massive danger game this one. For the Eels."

Ive sent all this through to Jason Ryles to put up in the sheds.
The most shocking part of my prediction is thinking Parra can score.

Your team will probably be flattered I gave them 3 points.

Spanked by Melbourne. They played ok in their loss against the Raiders but it was a typical Raiders game where they dragged them down to their levels. Played the Roosters before their surge, and spanked Cronulla away but Cronulla were absolutely diabolical.

Have the Bulldogs in Sydney in a few weeks but their draw has been so blessed.
Agree on this, im a Bronco fan but also a Kiwi, if you try and point that out to any warriors fan they want nothing to do with that argument. They were also well beaten by a 2nd string Panthers and just beat a Knights team that had gastro run through the squad. On their day, absolutely they are a dangerous side, but yes the draw has done massive favors for them.

Yesterday should be a huge worry for them. Granted I know that Metcalf, CNK, and Barnett are huge outs for them but their good scrambling defence and Leka brilliance aside that was uninterested Wahs of old yesterday.

The Wahs movement is so good, just feels like there are far too many rose tinted glasses about. Next year I think they’ll be amazing, provided Leka, Laban, and Demitric don’t flop with second year syndrome. They’ll have a much harder draw next year too

So I would assume, we will see something like:

1. Walsh
2. Karapani
3. Staggs
4. Shibasaki
5. Mariner
6. Mam
7. Reynolds
8. Jensen
9. Hunt
10. Haas
11. Piakura
12. Riki
13. Carrigan

14. Walters
15. Willison
16. Hetherington
17. Gosiewski

18. Smoothy

I like it, I like it a lot.

Is anyone else feeling not as confident about this game?
I know we should win if we're serious about it, but I watched the Eels' game last week, and they didn't play poorly at all. In fact, they looked like a top four team for most of that match.

Their goal line defense was impressive for the majority of the game. If Moses plays, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they won. I haven't watched many Eels games this year, so I can’t comment on their form before that.

However, based on just last week's game, without any knowledge of the ladder, you would assume they were one of the top teams.
