I think we probably can’t drop Hunt and Reynolds at the same time. It’s clear that Hunt cannot play 9 in NRL, he’s 7 or nothing.
I would keep Reynolds for this one and have Hunt at 19 ready to go if Reynolds goes down.
If there’s still connection issues then maybe a tough conversation with Reynolds happens after the cows game.
It is definitely interesting Walsh’s body language in the Penrith game. I do wonder if there has been a disconnect with the Walsh and Carrigan guard and Reynolds since 2024. Does make you wonder why we picked it up last year when Reynolds was out.

They all seem pretty tight from what I've seen but I suppose you never know.
As for making the semis, I've made peace with missing out a while back. I just want to see a decent base built for next season and for us to play the football we know we can play. Making the semis shouldn't even come into our mindset.

It's possible to really like someone, but loathe working with them because they aren't performing.
Reece also knows that ARey has been a big part of the club and likely will be for a long time.

Even with everything going our way, I've got us finishing 9th on equal points with the Cows, and missing out on differential. Our only hope is we really turn it on in one or two of the upcoming games and rack up some scores.
Those miserable losses to the likes of the Drags and Tits are going to come back to bite us in the end.

Can we have Waters and Mozer both in the 19. No Hunt. Can Billy do the Smoothy role (10 min break for Pat, then Pat slots back in at prop) and be backup for when Reynolds invariably goes down.
Gale did a job 2 weeks back, give him another shot and don't make us suffer thru watching Gos again. Simple game plan for Gale - tackle, run some lines.
If we don't play Billy, surely Semu can get 20 mins either side of halftime. Riki and Talty are not bending the line, although they played much better Thurs night (with reduced minutes).
I know what we will get team list Tuesday, but please, enough of Hunt and Gos, and please no 80 mins of Paix.
And leave X in the middle!
Shiba has earnt another week over Ganderson (19th man) but he better keep earning his spot!
