The report I read said they were going to point to the Walsh try saver on JAC as to why Wighton should escape suspension
His right arm is clearly tucked... they can claim whatever they want about the left arm, but if the NRL is suddenly going to accept that one arm can be tucked in and only one arm needs to be wrapping, then they may as well do away with the shoulder charge being a penalty

No Souths didn’t, the journalist used it.

They're a Sydney team... so I'm guessing they will lead their defence off with that and it will probably be enough
Crawleys on the case mate

Any word on Haas and his injury at the end of the Eels game

Enough of the going sides & sweep plays. We’re better off going through opponents middle third. We’ve cattle do so but our playmakers don’t use them often.

Our middles, bench & its usage will go a long way in getting us W’s from here on.

Corey MUST start &
X-man SHOULD be on the bench.

Billy,
Xman,
Kobe &
Tally should be our bench.

Nothing against Goski but I don’t see a place for him in the 17 now. If he’s included on not as a cover to our back rowers in case of injuries, Patty/Xman can fill in. For the 17th spot, we could use a middle in Talty who could become very handy.

Also, it’s about time Bhunt start to deliver. We can’t wait forever.

Re-watching some of the games (including against Eels) I couldn't help but notice how variable our gameplan seems to be on a weekly basis.

We have games where we do things that work so well and it seems like we're building nicely, and then the next week we totally go away from it. 2 weeks ago Ezra played majority of the game on the right for the first time that I can remember for who knows what reason and in the Eels games there were a few ball movement sequences where it looked like we were purposefully trying to force a ball to a certain place or player for some reason rather than simply executing what was in front of us.

We've still got players running into each other or running decoys into the path of passes as if nobody knows where they should be. Are we still 'experimenting' this deep into the season? I guess we've only just got our actual starting spine in place so maybe they're trying to figure things out - this should have been the type of tinkering done early in the season but we didn't have that opportunity.

Alternatively, is the gameplan maybe being overthought or over-complicated? We don't exactly have the most high-IQ squad in the comp.

Either way, some of the inconsistency seems like it is a result of volatile strategy / experimenting / varying gameplays purposefully, not ONLY player inconsistency.

That’s right.

Simply put, above is exactly what our guys do if they don’t turn up but realizes half way through the game that they’ve to perform. The game plan(IF there’s one) goes out of the window by then and too many cooks try to pull rabbit out of the hat with a miracle play. The bonus would be Walshy pulling out rocks than diamonds.

When in attack, meters must come from outside backs and middles, then the half’s must control the game with decent kicking.

When was the last time Adam forced a repeat set? I can’t recall him doing this season much. What happened to his drop kicks/chip kicks/grubbers?

The utter disappointment is, whenever we toil hard for a repeat set, we never ever hold on to the ball if it’s a short kick off by the opponents. We must be the dumbest team.

Well, there are so many things that we should get better at but no point ranting here. I just want us to play games where everyone does their part and get better at what they do.

Here people saying that they still believe when we are on it’s a Kevvie coached attack and we are stuck in between of playing a Michael mguire structured style of attack or flash play type Kevvie coached . Makes sense

CM reporting a few changes for the Broncos

'"The Broncos coach wasn’t happy with a number of personal performances and is expected to shake-up his squad to avoid a Wayne Bennett Bunnies ambush."'

Further to this Badel reports that "it’s understood at least two Broncos are in the firing line after last week’s 22-20 collapse against the Eels."
