Round 22 - Raiders vs Broncos

Hunt, Parker and Reed have made a huge difference to our enthusiasm.

Hunt at first receiver looks the goods ... .all we need to do now is play a bit deeper and run onto the options he'll create.

dumb penalties have cost us so far.

attack is still feet in the mud stuff. wallace still seems lost. the one time we go away from him we score from some good quick ball movement. just let hunt run things

reed has been excellent. really shutting ferguson down.

i just want to get out there and pull everyone back when we stand so flat in attack

What an average game of football. Once upon a time Broncos Vs Raiders would of been a cricket score!! We need to lift badly to win this game & get back in the top 4!!!

Pre-season matches, they should of given wallace the 6 to train up and let Hunt/Norman fight for the 7 which Hunt would of easily taken. Wallace is in fairy land at first reciever.

Wallace just seems to take forever to do anything.

At least at 5/8 he'd have that little bit extra time to make things happen.

Hunt looks like a halfback should out there.

I felt that the Raiders are winning the meters (although haven't checked the stats) also seem more likely to break the line only some last ditched defence has stopped them. I thought before the game IF the Broncos were to win it will be only just and so far nothing has changed my mind. From what I've seen so far:
1. Our attack is too flat
2. Attack is also disjointed giving no time nor space to our outside backs
3. Kicking game on the whole has been poor and not enough pressure on the receiver
4. Defence seems to lack sting, Raiders getting over the advantage line far too easily, although we did improve our meters and defence when Petero and Mac came on.

Will be interesting to see if and how Hook will use Norman.

If he pulls McCullough and puts Hunt into 9, I'd imagine you won't see Hunt again after they sub Macca back on.

Watch them take Macca off 10 minutes into the second half so that we can shift Norman into the side.

I'm still a fan of Norman and thus far am not convinced that he is the major problem with our attack, but truly non of our halves seem to be at the same level of other teams halves combinations....

Corey and Jack are returning from injury well and are playing outstandingly. Jack is having a great game, played a key role in the try and is making Fergusons life hell.
