Some of the penalties the cowboys got were fking stupid from our guys. Flegler gave them 2 or 3 and what about our captain Capewell taking Dearden out 6 hours after he passed it.

The 2nd offside was the only dubious one imo. We’ve been stupid, whether that’s because of the heat or we are trying too hard I’m not sure.

Yep agreed, only really been one or two contentious calls i reckon, rest have been deserved.

It's better they are getting off their line then waiting for Walsh and Haas to run 20m before we touch them. It is the heat. The game is fast. No team holding down and free flowing attack. Better game to watch then that roosters manly wrestle athon

I don’t think he has been as bad as everybody is saying. Dropped into the side on short notice too. Had a few brains snaps but had some good patches as well.

If we hadn’t have blown two tries we’d already be up by 18.

Yeah no need to pile on Madden. He’s a young half and he’s backing himself in attack and making tackles. Making mistakes is a sign of having a go for young halves. He hasn’t been impressive but as long as he does his job in defence I’ll be happy to give him a pass mark.

There are enough points and ability elsewhere to overcome a rookies kicking and conservative decision making.

We’ve been telling them to cut out mistakes for 2 years now yet somehow we keep winning despite that. I think mistakes are just part of our playing style.

6 errors is bad. Need to keep our heads down and put them away early. I don't trust Madden to wrap it up if it is close at the end.
