If we has the middles we win this game, our attack looks so good

Nothing to lose for the Broncos. If they win it is excellent and it should have been by more because of the refs and if they lose it is the refs fault so it doesn't count.

****'s sake mate. I'll bite, again.

Do you think the refereeing tonight (either way) was NRL standard, or not? And explain your answer.

Simple question. Go for it.

We played a NSW cup side tonight, do you really think Melb give us that much latitude?

In saying that our atrocious record against them is slightly better in Melbourne. It's Suncorp where they've belted us regularly.

Total dogshit, both ways. Gough should be dropped next week in all seriousness.

Having said that, this *is* a Broncos forum and you know most of us have at least one eye shut each game so it is what it is.
I agree imo it was awful but it is getting to a point that every single game every fanbase is whinging about their whistle and maybe just maybe every single one of them is extremely biased and the dudes in the middle aren't actually terrible. I have more of a problem with how they are being told to referee(management) and the dudes that get to sit there in the bunker and continue to get it wrong. If they removed the 6 agains and got a ruck ref back they would solve most of the issues but ya know..... money and points

Of course we are one-eyed and biased and of course we are going to say one-sided things in game and immediately after and so we are allowed to, this is OUR forum. If you have an issue with it, refrain from commenting in game and immediately after.

Our fans, myself included, have every right to say whatever we want on our forum and of course we are going to say some pretty stupid things and again, so we should, its our forum.

Once we calm down, of course we are more pragmatic about things and can see things more logically. Indeed, everything you say here is probably right, just think about when you post it and try not to get too upset with one-eyed posting on a fan forum, we won't change this and nor should we have to on said forum.

But as for six agains and refs being let down by their higher ups, absolutely no argument there from any fan of any club I imagine.

I agree. The guys (and girls) in the middle have 2 touchies (lol) and the bunker in their ear all game. IMO it's why we're seeing less and less 'feel' for what's in front of them and how the game is actually playing out in real time. The whole bunker situation is becoming a big problem but I don't see it being addressed anytime soon, sadly. The stupidity of the 6-agains are in the same boat. I am still to meet a single league fan who publicly voices anything except hate and disgust for the rule.

The fans I suspect are becoming more and more disgruntled because of the above 2 issues, and how it actually manifests for their team in games. It's not hard to make an argument that both teams are dudded multiple times per game so it's only logical both fan bases are upset. At the end of the day the NRL only has itself to blame with their refusal to drop the shitty rules they have introduced which have turned the game on its head.

Piakura has indeed had a head knock, he'll be out next week.
