Great win from the boys! Really stood up tonight.

Walsh looked like he’s coming of age – still has the flash, but cut out the errors and added some tough carries. The whole team was on though, our line speed was relentless all game.

A top 4 finish is still on, and I reckon this side has what it takes.

Said it in the match thread, **** I love hate this team.

That was absolute garbage weeks out from the finals. Our defense was made to look like school boys at times.

Patty Carrigan, take a week or two off mate and find yourself. You've gone to shit.

Riki, if he's playing in '26 in the run on team, our R&R need to be fired into the sun.

So much to dislike in that win.

Walsh and booting it out on the full becoming synonymous to Oates and dropping a ball

Just so we all know, and before the negativity enters this thread - Benny Hunt was the one that at 28-10 down turned to the group and something to the effect of "get to ****ing work, *****".

2 points.

He stood up when it mattered.

His first performance at halfback in a new side. Something to build on.

  • The best Walsh has run since the origin hit
  • Haas was absolutely disgusting
  • He doesn’t skip anymore, but Riki has such low footy IQ
  • Mariner as well, on the 20 metre drop out he didn’t know where to stand and didn’t recognise he needed to go dummy half
  • JHunt and Talty defence are suspect. Carrigan also becoming increasingly slow with his feet
  • Courageous effort but we are not doing anything in finals playing like that. Dolphins making 80 metres on sets when Haas was off

It's such a broncos thing to happen. Isaako did it on the regular for us too... how many has he done since leaving?

Look our defence was woeful but in attack we look so much better with hunt and Walsh calling the shots. I feel like we had too many chiefs with Reynolds and mam in the side. Madge needs to make the call on who’s in the side when all are available because hunt is better at halfback than starting dummy half.
