I don't know. He wasn't the top halfback, but he was so good they found a way to squeeze him into the QLD and Australian teams as a utility.
Madden dropped two balls and didn't kick anywhere near as well as Rogers. Both missed the same amount of tackles- four.
Wynnum had 37% of the ball and were down 16-0. Madden had a lot less chance to do anything but that's on him he's the 7. Roger controlled the Bears.

Rogers can be a bit of a turnstile .
Shame , because he has a lot of positives otherwise .
4 missed tackles is not a good rehersal for the big time for either guy .
Thursday night was his chance to step up and lead the team, he was a complete passenger waiting on Walsh or anyone else to do something. I’m not holding my breath that he suddenly he will realise he’s getting paid to play footy this year. Bigger question is what they will do with him next year, because surely they will look into the future for when he and Reynolds are gone.
The off season will be interesting to see who gets released from the squad, I have a feeling a few of the boys will be quietly told to find elsewhere. Madge will have a huge amount of pressure next year so some things will have to change.

It’s easier to stand out in a shit team. Everything goes through you so weight of numbers means you’ll rack up the stats, and thus Dally M votes

He topped the NRL for try assists last season. I'd say a few teams would kill for a quiet hb that can dish out 30 try assists in a year.
