It's such a disappointment man, if we had won that game well and shut everyone up, it would have been a great thing for our mental going into the finals. And the game was there for us to run away with it too, especially the sin bin. The best we managed in that time was 6 all.

At least it will make our finals success more special and surprising

Guys, brace yourself for Father Crawley & Pope Drunk Fcuk preachings on Monday.

Agree that it’s an ugly win but watch them how they spin it and preach that
1. the cheat fcuks would steam roll us Thursday week. They would conveniently leave out the fact that the grubs got steamrolled by 40 points in 1 half but the the sole attention & their spin would be on

2. Shibas pass to Billy which is forward was let go &
3. how many of our passes were turned a blind eye to & the NRL must strictly enforce rules on us.
4. Walsh is cocky, arrogant, getting out of control & he will ruin our chances.
5. We are lucky to finish in the top 8.

Stupid lowlife morons.

Our contact is garbage, they slap at players & constantly end up caught underneath the tackle. It all stems from the same thing, they have no aggression. There’s no one is that pack that can intimidate through a big hit when they get in these periods of big momentum swings. Riki personifies it, for the second time in a few weeks he’s given a easy run 10m out from the try line with only one player to beat and he somehow manages to bomb it through a sheer lack of physicality.
They already put themselves at a disadvantage because of their poor line speed. They move up slowly and then stop. You won't win contact with no momentum.

The teams that win contact are those with the aggressive line speed. I still don't understand why this is not an area we focus on.

I had to listen to the game on ABC Radio. When the Nanai try was eventually called back, one of the commentators literally said they should have awarded it because of the Broncos' forward pass just earlier. FMD they are genuinely suggesting that the Bunker should have the power to overlook clear, conclusive video evidence in retaliation to a previous contentious call. How do these people have jobs?

Having mulled over it, I actually don't mind winning like that.

Usually, I'd be absolutely fuming with some of the rubbish we came up with tonight - but, I'm hoping this will keep us on our toes.

We've seen how easily some of these blokes get carried away when they're in good form and string a couple of wins together. That's not something we want with the finals right around the corner.

Hopefully the rank defence on display tonight serves as a wake-up call to these halfwits that they need to utilise their brains out there. Respect the ball, don't just throw it away, especially early in the count, or in your own half.

This team, man. If they just had some brains, they'd be near unstoppable dammit. So frustrating.

Haha hey guys!
Remember that time we conceded two tries against 12 men!

How the **** are we 4th on the ladder.

I don't think being down to 12 men is the disadvantage it used to be years ago.

Teams actually practice being down a man now. It's not hard to score when down to 12 when the player that was binned is a winger. It doesn't really have an impact on the attack.

In recent years teams have been getting better at overcoming being down a man.

Ah, they're not too bad. I mean, sometimes you have to accept that some of the commentators are ex-players and have had some head-knocks

The pass was forward.... but if that was, why was the pass to jake arthurs backwards, brandy and the media constantly reiterating "it was fine" lol it was more forward that the pass last night..

Bring in forward pass technology and a virtual 10 metre line nrl, as a broncos fan(the most penalised and 6 again disadvamtaged team in the comp year after year after year) I DARE YOU!

That Piakura play the ball was maybe the most obvious bullshit call ever. Like what was that seriously. It’s clear refs were out to get us last night.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Madge said post-game that Ezra and Cobbo are progressing really well.
To me he was hinting that if we manage to win a few games for finals they are back. Broncos get top 4 and win week 1 finals they could deadset go on the miracle run to the grand final
