Pretty sure he'd played fullback in multiple trials this year/last year(?) and did well. Think what you want though, it's hilarious people rubbishing simple yet effective ideas.

Anyways, fb is the lesser of two evils, Hoff would play better with better halves as he has done in previous years. I can see him regaining some of his old form with Hunt partnering Wal while Norman goes soul searching.

Anyway it seems our forwards are struggling as much as our halves. They don't seem to be making the metres they were earlier in the year. Ben Hannant made 173m's but none of the other forwards stood out. I feel McGuire is struggling, it might be confidence because of his eye injuries. Hoffman still looked pretty tentative as well. I hope he doesn't go on any tours for NZ at the end of the season. He obviously needs some sort of surgery or rest.

I wouldn't say I love the Hoff or Norman.
