Got a feeling tonight will be pretty anticlimatic with both teams just having a hitout/training run type thing. hope I'm wrong, wouldn't mind being entertained.

Potential strats that could help us tonight?

- PLENTY of practice on shutting down Coates, obviously.
- Defence smothering Hughes, or straight up roughing him out of it
- Staggs plenty of early ball
- BIG Defence practice for Mariner in Shiba's position
- Quick as hell ruck speed

Sorry mate, for a second there I thought you might have evidence of a criminal conspiracy, rather than just making up excuses in advance. Like Broncos fans need to play to our stereotype of being whiny little bitches.
 
Need huge games from our centres in defence. No ball watching and get back quickly to help defend the kicks to their wingers. It's disappointing that Shiba is out but such a great opportunity for Mariner.
 
It all comes down to how much do we REALLY want to win tonight?

That '23 Semi Final against the Storm was incredible and it wasn't because of flashy attacking plays or silky ball movement, it was all mental toughness and turning up for each and every play. It's all in the mind, the Storm beat us because they are trained mentally and physically to just keep coming and never stop. Once we match that attitude and desire, then we fight it out over okay, who wants this more? If we want it more, than we will be willing to make that last ditch tackle to stop a try or get our forwards on a roll and we will handle their quick ruck speed etc.

It's all in the mindset.
 
If we want to get taken seriously, we have to win this.

All year it’s been said we can’t beat the top teams. The group can shut everyone up tonight.

Will it happen, though? Nah.

Bellamy has also only won 3 premierships from 9 grand final appearances. That's a pretty shocking conversion rate.

Otherwise to win the comp from 5th I would've preffered we rested everyone.
We haven't.
So lose this and we would probably run out of juice.
