We can't sign him, given our middle and spine cost.

Imo, day to day Haas and Carrigan are better, even if they got dominated this game.
He does seem like the player you would want in a big game though.

to be fair we did have a gutted squad and no hope of finals, this game there was no excuse since we were full strength.

We didn't do that tonight and when you're going up against a side that's playing like it's their GF, it's always going to be a bad night.

We withstood the onslaught from their first 20-30mins and then the game was able to get into a grind at which point we got two tries.

Hunt had a brain explosion which allowed them a late try, but we still finished the half only 6 points behind, so I would say that's about the best we could hope for all things being considered.

The issue was the start of the second half... We couldn't stop them in yardage at all, which was a major issue, but I don't think raiders came out firing in the second half in the same way they started the first half. Their line speed was just normal instead of roided up penrith levels.

We just completely imploded for the entire second half.

I think raiders did end up using a lot of energy in the first 30mins and the game was there and ready to fall into a pattern... all we had to do was follow the game plan and grind them out, but instead we just made unforced error after unforced error to gift them field position and then didn't defend our errors at all.

we lost to Titans similar in 23 too though, that game was close, this game we got dominated in our main strength the middle.
