After reflecting and taking a few breaths I think and hope madge doesn't react too much to this loss.
They appear to be weak mentally and downhill runners but dropping gos for piakura would not send a good message. As bad as gos was and is, the best result for the team is a reaction from both and the continued message to earn it back. 1 bad game and he gets dropped that means piakura will have to play 22 good games in a row or get dropped as well? So far the score is 1-1 with them, but gos had a better pre season so he deserves another chance. If he plays bad next game and piakua plays well then you swap them, 1 or 2 bad games more off the bench and j hunt (if playing and training well in reserves) comes in for him on the bench.
I hope tapau comes in for jensen though. Jensen is great, but he just doesn't fit with our team week to week. Haas, carrigan, willison and hethrington can all play more than 50 minutes without denting their impacts. We need impact for 20-30 mins. The raiders just screamed out of the line (so quickly some may theorise it was illegal but the refs would notice *cough cough* that of course) and rushed willison knowing the next guy or the guy before was no chance of doing a tacklebusting, linebreaking, quick ptb run so they didn't need the numbers or to be on the front foot defensively. And when they do rush jensen he gets pushed back most times.
I really like him but he just doesn't fit our team. If we had a high impact 2nd row/middle on the bench so we had 3 middle options (and cover our inept and/or injury prone edges) he would be perfect, but we need the momentum to change or continue from our bench.
