Still dont think he has shown us anywhere near his best yet, but Ezra put his body on the line in a couple key moments tonight. Hopefully that leads to some confidence across his game.

Thought he was better tonight... his defence still let two in on his edge, but he was more involved in the second half.

His defence and scramble held up in the second half as well.

Not using 2 was weird. I thought it was smart to keep one in reserve in case an outside back went down and we needed to bring on Shiba, but 2 is strange.

Still, we won, so I won't complain.

No trust in Roblox or Hunt (was Hunt in the six?). Thought Madge might have brought Shiba on late as fresh legs and a big body.

Though I don't really see the point in having Mozer there. Come on if we're down big and there's no pressure? We were never really a chance to be up big, even before the ball was kicked off.

This wasn’t the game to bring Mozer on. The way the game played out, it would’ve been a bad call unless Paix stopped making his tackles

I'm clearly one of Paix's biggest critics, but agree that there was not a good time to bring Mozer on.

Paix had been in the washing machine all game and they were all scrambling for each other... would've been rough to bring Mozer on in that situation

Say what you will about Paix, you can see the logic in why we are looking to re-sign him, he's not flashy but he just played 90 and has been physically robust, he is just one of those dependable players that plays every game.

my biggest issue with paix is he just needs to engage the markers a little more. he might do it like once a game. to often it is just shuffle the ball out to his halves.

i mean he has a decent quick low pass off the ground in him. but teams know now they can start breaking off markers earlier knowing paix wont challenge or engage them

if he can somehow just bring that to his game he will be able to give more time to walsh, reyno, hunt and mam
