POST GAME [Round 3, 2026] - Broncos vs Storm

Headgear Riki has gone mainstream 😂

So is that the first time against Bellamy then?
Bellamy started at the Storm in 2003
Round 10 2003 vs. Storm: 36-16 (Final game at QEII Stadium)
Round 19 2003 vs. Storm: 26-22 (First Golden Point Win)
Round 4 2004 vs. Storm: 34-26

Interesting to note the final two games were dramatic come from behind wins. Brisbane trailed 16-6 in that golden point game (final win of the season). In that Round 4 clash, it was 18-4 until De Vere scored in the dying stages of the first half after a fortuitous bounce.

It was actually the forth win in a row. Brisbane smashed Melbourne in 2002 and it remains the Broncos biggest winning streak against Melbourne.

Melbourne still hold the record with a 14 game winning streak (2017-2023).

Petero! A real Broncos legend!

I tell you what, I hated Johns whenever he took the field, he was so good and just ripped opposition to shreds so often while playing for all the wrong teams (apart from Aus). And I don't agree with making him an immortal after his admission that he played under the influence, it cheapens the whole thing even though you can't argue with his influence on the field. But he's grown up a lot, as you tend to do, I really like a lot of his takes on the game for Ch9, his technical analysis is great, I'd absolutely have a beer with the bloke, it'd be a hoot.

Love seeing the old boys in and around the team there, especially down in Melbourne. These lads are finally charting their own path and writing their own names in the books and I am ****ing here for it. It's been a long time.

Long way to go in the season yet but it feels like a corner has been turned. Let's hope so.

I'm willing to forgive Deine here because he's not used to defending in the centres, he's probably tired as hell and centre is a difficult position to defend in, but I don't want to see this again.

He had ample opportunity to put Faalogo on his ass but sits back and waits for the kick.

Thankfully Josiah grabs enough of the strapping to force the error.

I watched the replay and if Karapani wasn’t grabbing Faalogo’s left foot, the ball could have been kicked into our in-goal giving the Storm a chance to kill us in the dying seconds. He needs a big fat raise for that one effort!

I was up at 1:45am yesterday and went straight to sleep after the game. 9pm - 7.45 havent had a sleep like that in a while. I said they were defending well in the first half. Good to get 3 wins in a row against the storm. They held the ball finally and scored some points.
Always sleep better after a win.

Check out the run straight into Walsh's back and immediate look at the ref. In a team of unlikeable ****wits, Hughes is fast becoming my number one.

Also Storm fans are complaining about the Piaks hit. Come on, guys, be serious.

He’s a fcukwit forever. I feel like punching
the cheat grub especially, on those buffalo lips.

Boys and girls - what a win! Weekend feels great now don't it!

A career night for Riki? What a bloody game. Can he turns this into something more consistent?

Dunno how I feel about Hunt over Arey yet frankly.

Paix getting a new contract, given the new extended bench rules, does make sense. With no Wlaters for msot of the year, a bird in hand worth 2 in the bush.

Also, how come I cant hit 'like' on anyones post? See below to see what I see on my laptop..
