The Knights are a basket case and have been for years. They had that one decent year in 2023 and have looked terrible almost every other year for like two decades. This is a big club with an extremely strong and loyal fan base that have stood by their team through thick and thin. Johns is one of those very loyal fans, what he says is always from a position of wanting them to be good. He also doesn't have a major stake in a club just down the road.
CONEHEAD takes pot shots at the Broncos every chance he gets and has done so for years. He is also a major partner in a team down the road, a team that he openly says he supports. We are also not a basket case and haven't been now since the Covid days. We also just happen to be defending premiers. CONEHEAD's criticisms definitely are not coming from a good place. He just wants to see us burn and does not appear to have the mental capacity to put his feelings aside and be professional when it comes to our club.
As a result, he has no one to blame but himself for what the club has done and I honestly doubt many fans out there would disagree with what they've done. That is completely on CONEHEAD himself, he's disgraced himself.
Fox would want to be careful though, because with his antics, CONEHEAD runs the risk, along with the other germalists' unfounded and relentless criticism of Maguire despite being the defending premiership coach, of alienating one of the biggest fan bases and therefore money spinners in the league. It is truly amateur hour from them.
This relentless stupidity will definitely generate some clicks for a bit but if they keep droning on, fans will eventually start to eye roll and go elsewhere like many of us have already done. It might already be happening.
