For me the only question is what is the role Bennett has asked of Blair ... Blair the prop.

Bennett asked Thaiday "to take a bullet for the team" after 1 game, so I feel my question is legit.

I suppose the first part of the answer to my question will come when this week's team is picked.

Exactly. Though Thaiday was pretty blatantly unhelpful for us against the Rabbitohs, whereas without looking at the stats sheet most people wouldn't have noticed Blair's lack of running. I suspect if Bennett is not happy with Blair's output in attack he will put it to him to take more runs this week, and only if he continues his non-running ways will he get a public dressing down and/or demotion.

Maranta made 100 mtrs last game from 13 runs, but I get your point.

I just hope we can match the Cows pack, otherwise we will be in a world of pain, even if we defend stoutly... but more importantly, we need to cut the silly penalties and errors out of our game.
We need to explore the Cows confidence low after starting the season with 2 losses.

Really glad to see that kodi and joey I are still in the team. Excited about what kodi can bring off the bench and Jo can get more experience.

I would like to see Garbutt get a run but there's plenty of time left in the season I suppose. I'll be thrilled if the aspirational players keep/start producing big games because knowing that your place is under pressure ( maybe not Parker,McGuire,Hodges,Hunt ) is a great incentive to put in a good performance . Like lots of others I would like to see Blair pick up his hit ups but if we beat the Cows and keep winning after that with Blair only putting in a couple of runs, then I won't give a rats arse how many metres he makes.

I'm happy Kodi is in the side. Milford improved when he was on, he was given more room to work in. We need to give him as much time with the ball as possible so he can use his running game.

Really happy with the team named. I love the make-up of the backline (with the exception of one). Oates and Maranta have been our best wingers since 2012. So pleased to see them playing together.

Still a massive game for us. The Cowboys will be determined to stop the rot.

A big differnce between James Graham and Adam Blair (besides Graham's far better workrate) is that Graham is also a smarter ball player - he can put other players into a hole, not just spread the ball, which is just what Blair has been doing. You could swap Blair with Stagg and not see any difference.

Eh...Blair is more imposing than Stagg which is why he is where he is.

Looking forward to the contest. These clashes always tend to be very close and I'm sure this game will have it's share of twists and turns.

Lachlan Coote makes his North Queensland debut despite signing with the club in 2013. It's foreign territory and it will be interesting to see what kind of impact he has on the side.

I don't think the gameplan changes all that much for Brisbane. Couple of hit ups through the middle, work for a quick play the ball then test the Cowboys through the edges and play off the back of it.

The kicking game has to be on song too. Put pressure on O'Neil and Coote, see how they handle the pressure back there.

Happy that Joffa, Kodi and Oates are still in the team, and that Thaiday is still benched.

Would really like to see Vidot back soon though.

Unless there are some serious changes to creativity in attack in general, like the way we (don't) use Gillett and Glenn properly as edge runners, and Milford remains quiet, I can see us not scoring many points at all;

If we are to have any chance at all, we have to control the middle, with the defence on Scott, Tamalolo and Tamou up the middle a real priority. Kostjasyn, and Granville's speed will be a problem if they gets their pack motoring.

Blair has to really shine in this one against that sort of opposition pack.
