I'm leaning towards tipping them. Knights have looked decent thus far, but are far from world beaters. Conversely, Titans have been insipid, but the inclusion of Bird and Taylor is a massive shot in the arm. You can bet they'll both be champing at the bit.

I take his point. Penrith's depth has been really impressive the past few years and they still have the likes of Waqa Blake & Robert Jennings coming through as well. I certainly wouldn't be upset if we targeted any of the 3 unless we threw $500K at them...

The honeymoon period is definitely over, we're two weeks in and I'm reminded of how much time this sport takes up despite having no professional involvement what-so-ever. I feel cranky that I don't have much time anymore but the available time I do have is basically being sucked up by 16 hours worth of action and all the other shows that do the rounds. I think I'm going to have to ease up and be more selective with my choices.

So let's say instead of watching 8 games every weekend, I cut that down to 4, these are the top 4 games I'm looking forward to in Round 4.

And at number one, it's obviously going to be the Broncos v Cowboys game. However, even if I was a filthy Penrith Panthers supporter I'd be looking forward to this game because they always deliver and go down to the wire, especially at Suncorp Stadium.

Next would be Bulldogs vs Sea Eagles. Ever since Des flew the coop these games have been really fun to watch and I'll be very interested to see if DCE can maintain his form from last week or whether the Dogs will continue to grow after flogging Parra.

Then I've got the Gold Coast Titans vs Newcastle Knights - are the Knights the real deal post-Benny? And what sort of impact will the likes of Bird and Taylor have on the Gold Coast boys?

Then on Monday Night.....why this game isn't being played on Sunday I don't know but we've got a replay of last year's first week final between the Chooks and Panthers. Panthers without Soward could be vulnerable but they're looking primed after a quality second half against the Titans while I'll be very interested to see how the Roosters recover after the game on Sunday. Sometimes those quality matches can really take it out of teams and I think it may just give the Panthers the edge.

Or maybe it will just result in a quality contest - that's all I care about at the moment.

Man I had such a hard time tipping the Broncos vs Cowboys game, spent about 30 minutes sitting there staring at the tip sheet, ended up tipping the Cowboys, have absolutely no confidence in the tip though.
