I believe he is back playing for Ipswich.

By all reports though, he's a bit behind in the pecking order currently.

I believe we will see him in first grade at some point but it may be a way off from the sound of things. I hope he makes it, but it's up to him to state his case over that of his peers.
 
For mine, the Panthers have a solid defence, relatively little idea how to make the ball do much, and their danger players are their wingers and Soward's short kicking at the line. Our wing defence needs to be tight so who plays out there is important.

As I see it, Hunt and Milford are on the rise, both our edges and outside backs are firing, our forwards control the middle with great defence which in general is terrific, and I am assuming our error rate will decline, so I can't see the Panthers scoring too many points.

When the slack Dogs decided to use the ball, especially Mbye, their version of Milf, they had the Panthers at 6's and 7's.

This is left field and just thinking out loud, but is there any merit to temporarily pushing Roberts out to a wing and bringing kahu in to centre? Kahu has the knack for putting a winger away and it would inject Roberts more, even if only on kick returns with space to move. May reignite him.

Not sure how safe he would be under the high ball and under pressure, just a thought in Oates' absence.

It's not a horrible idea, but Roberts certainly isn't known for his work under the high ball, and I imagine he'd get destroyed on kick returns, if we want to get him involved, we need to run some sweeping plays early in the sets to the right, give him a chance to get a 2 on 2 situation, he thrived in those last year with the Titans.

We are just starting to get the right side combinations working so for mine, if for that reason alone, moving Roberts is a bad move. We bought him for his quality as a centre, not wing. Don't we have enough wingers coming through who deserve a chance? We need to keep the core structures we are developing and stop tinkering with positions, like moving key players out of position when we are trying to build settled combinations.

For mine Maranta if fit, is the ideal replacement.
 
Is anyone catching this on fox that Roberts may be suspended for touching the ref!! Ahaha so players like Klemmer and Bird could verbally get in there face and swear but Roberts can't pay a ref on the shoulder. The NRL is fucked
 
We should just kick a field goal every game to see how many we can finish with at the end of the season.
 
i swear anthony milford just kicks field goals for fun but finally good to have someone who can kick field goals, since lockyer retired we have been hopeless in that departement

You can't touch a referee mate it's been the rule since 1908.
 
Opacic two tries both off kicks. He's going ok. Seve looked more comfortable last week. Bad miss first minute that was a try.
 
Forgot to mention funaki and alick have been moved to wynnum also. They are playing there now. I wonder why this is...hmmm.

All broncos players except Carlin were moved out of there today.
Wayne was there.
Oh and Cronulla have been sniffing around too.
