We played better last week. Thought we were pretty decent tonight after the tiring game last week. Surprised we played as well as we did.

I loathe the Storm with a burning passion. Their style of play is hateable on every level.

That was the worst refereeing performance for a Broncos game I have ever witnessed. Mistakes aside, that was dismal.

Absolutely spot on. The referees obviously had an agenda tonight and were pro Storm. Pathetic and disgraceful refereeing but we also we should of iced that game in the last 10 minutes but didn't.

That's two weeks in a row the refs have screwed us over.

So glad I don't sit near the players tunnel or I would be so temped to dump my drinks on those useless shits. Or at least give them a gobful everytime.

He's on the Matty Johns show saying we were clearly the better team and were very unlucky.

The Storm deserve an award for best performance today in front of a referee, I thought I was watching soccer three quarters the way through ! Slater I think got the best performing actor. Masterful performance in that respect but considering the number of times they were in our 20 their execution was poor and our online defence pretty awesome. In the middle we drifted back all the time letting them gain easy yards. They won the ruck no doubt, the penalties and field position. While one of those shits me to tears (sucking up to refs) the others 2 we have no excuse for, we need to to do better....

Disappointed but not exactly surprised. That's the kind of game and result I expect versus the Storm more often than not.

All well and good to be competitive and brave in defence but any game played predominantly in your 20 is a sign you're not imposing yourself on the contest.

Some of the usual questionable calls but we can't be bitching about the penalty count. We were forced to concede quite a few rather than tries. Truth be told, I'm not proud but I'm happy we were prepared to play a little dirty as most teams would in the same situation.

Regarding grubbiness, I think we gave as good as we got. Pretty silly of Sims to ruin our momentum on Vuvazela. Lays a great shot on then proceeds with deliberate and obvious forearm facial. Clear penalty. Dropped ball in the last minute didn't help bit short of a long kick through and chase we weren't getting up field.

Bummer about the loss but we're still only three weeks in. Don't want to throw the toys out of the cot but we need to bank a win next week and run with it.
