Sloppy game but comprehensive win in the end. Good to get the win.
The starts to our games need a lot of work if we want to win the premiership.

Gayle pretty filthy with the game, as was Prince in what I saw of the presser before the video feed was corrupted.
Two weeks in a row now, time to start walking the walk.
I think while she’s been great off the bench, Netta not starting is putting us at a disadvantage, as she’s the one that pushes us forward better than Clark and Joseph. Bree has been largely decent at lock, but I think for team balance, Netta starting and Joseph back to lock is better.
We need to dictate the speed of the game from the opening whistle, because so far the Roosters and Dragons have done that before and we’re too slow early and concede too many penalties in the ruck.

Probably, wouldn’t have to do anything different than she’s currently doing, and her footwork would get her in a bit more space more often. She’s played more backrow than Dam at least, not that Lauren can’t do it of course.
I think it’s worth a go running the following new spots:
5. Dam
8. Netta
11. Spreadborough
13. Joseph
17. Maddick
Dam will help with metres out of our end, Netta gets us rolling early and Joseph still takes that 3rd or 4th hitup like she’s doing anyway, except now at lock instead of prop. Spreadborough can use her footwork out wider and Maddick can be cover for anyone 1-7

100% it does my head in. If this was Reece Walsh that did this it would be a united front from the media to teach the rockstar a lesson and run him out. Even if it was Tamika Upton they would be calling it a grubby act and making insinuations that we didn’t see it from her at the knights.

Grade 3 Dangerous Contact charge for Berry.
2 match ban for an early plea or 3 match if challenged and loses. No way she’ll play next week regardless of a grading challenge.
