They should be forcing a player who's clearly claiming they have been hit hard enough in the head to warrant staying on the ground after contact, to get a HIA. In the interest of player safety.

Years ago I did a First Aid course to assist on game day with my Son`s team .
They told me if you have a collision that splits the skin and causes bleeding . The impact would be enough to cause concussion and brain injury .

So every week there are players with mild concussion and potential brain injuries who aren`t sent for HIA check and probably compound the injury with more collisions .
That class action for CTE is gonna get ugly .

Arey is only better than Hunt right now imo if he is playing pretty much fully fit. He's at the stage now where if he's not, he's becoming a liability.

Which really is the problem in a nutshell. When was the last time Reynolds was fully fit?

You can see how much better our attack will be with Hunt scheming from Hooker though. Paix defends well but doesn't do much else

Its an issue. We are probably all jumping the gun a bit with him, he's still going to be useful but you can see why we have gone for Pezet.

For about 15 minutes vs the eels
I guess it may depend on how you're gauging fully fit.

Ever since his tore his hammy, he's lost a good 10-15m off his kicking leg when trying to get us out of trouble. He's also not able to put in the bombs that swirl around with impressive hang time.

Is that a lingering issue or is that permanent scar tissue....

It's hard to wrap a stat around it as a lot factors into it - but his average kick meters in his first 2 games this year are down 30% on average on top of just visually seeing him only boot it 40m most of the time now.

Moses basically kicked his team out of trouble, we couldn't match the yardage war.

Moses has done that for years, it's the difference between Parra with and without him. They can make 20 metres a set and still have the other team rucking it out from their own 20, not many players have a kick like that.

I think the difference between Hunt and Reyno, Hunt can run, he still poses that threat. Something would have to go significantly wrong in your defensive line for Adam Reynolds to bust you open with his running game.

Its also a 19 day stand down policy for juniors, wonder if the NRL has something in the player contracts though.

Saying that, I used to manage my son's footy team and to be honest I struggled passing the concussion question test myself when our players were being assessed LOL...

Hunt is a 7. That was obvious when he partnered with Billy and Reece. Ezra should be way better with the ball than Billy, but his defence is a real worry.

Reyno should retire immediately. Enough of this fart arsing around.

9News did report Payne Haas in doubt this weekend with an AC joint issue, but Broncs came out quickly to say he will definitely play. So obviously something he’s just playing through/managing

He really should quit NRL germalism, he hasn’t been right in a long long long time.

Payne's played through a grade 1 AC joint a couple of times now, he knows what he's in for - that and he can have surgery in the off season if needed, not like it will impact us if he does :P

Apparently Te'O wants to resign?
