Feels like his knee is being held together by sticky tape this year. If its somehow not a major injury, I hope he still takes all the time he needs to recover, the Broncos will need him at the end of the year.

He likely needs it rested, but we picked up injuries to Walsh and Haas, and were staring down the barrel of a 1-4 start... he was rushed back and hoped for the best.

Maybe. But what I'm saying is that the usual combo not being there means that communication is more required than normal. So, if Piakura were there, the communication wouldn't be as necessary and perhaps that might be the difference

Possibly. Weird thing is they were fine last week but i guess they werent really tested. I just think they are off it. They just need to get back to playing as a unit again.
