PRE-GAME [Round 5, 2025] Broncos vs Tigers

His priors, last year:

He can collect grade 1 charges all year and never be suspended... he'd need to cop a grade 2 to miss the match.

If it was shoulder to the head then it should be grade 2, but he does have the excuse that "I'm playing Broncos this week... ratings and all that"

The Tiggers just embarrassed themselves in the last few minutes of the Wahs game. They will be looking for redemption next week. We will have to be ON defensively.
I would tell our boys to keep their eyes on the ball because the tiggers will be out for blood last two time we played them they lost Sorry Ma your team what can I say

Not so Latrell, unfortunately. Black looks like he could use some more game time.
Agree with that. Mozer arriving on the field and then TeKura soon after seemed to lift the whole team. Latrell was underwhelming, other than his nice backing up through the middle for a nice try. The TeKura swan dive try shook the ground at Davies Park.

Looks like a Grade 1 to my untrained eye - he wraps his arms around him.

Luai out.

Grade 2 Careless High Tackle. One match ban unless he fights it and wins. Two matches if he fights it and loses.

They're also likely to be without Adam Doueihi, as well.

If anyone's wondering about the arse these rules are plucked out of, here are the current laws. You will need to read all three pages:

From what I gather instead of being charged with a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge (includes arms), it's a careless high tackle because there's head contact.

Points expire after 12 months, so in Jarome's case there's no carry over from Round 2 last year.

I'm not sure if Luai bring out helps us or hurts us

It helps us IF we have the right attitude.

It puts the pressure on Galvin. If we get up in his face all night and don't give him room to move, that will make life harder for the Tigers.
At times last year they moved Api to 7, so i wonder if they might look at that to avoid changing Galvin's role.

I'd imagine Fainu will get named at 7, but I can see Api playing 80 across the two positions and tigers looking to play mostly through the middle third.

Locking up Terrell and slowing down the ptb to contain Api will be the two big things to shut down this game
