POST GAME [Round 5, 2026] - Broncos vs Titans

Reyno looks fine in the sheds. May have been mostly precautionary

Right now you would have to concede the comp is Penrith's to lose, which is NOT a sign of health within this comp, but of the other teams that are still battling for consistency, we are surely the only side with the talent in us to beat them.

We are the side that has to get our shit together fastest or it's a one horse race.

It also comes down to 6 again and most rule changes have benefited their style of play more than anyone else too.

Mentioned it in the live thread, so I’ll still keep my promise despite his improvement in the second half

This is something that could be more in the future as we just don’t have the players right now to do it, but it worked last year when we did.

For Mam I wonder if he is, in the long-term, a smaller running lock-forward.

He doesn’t have a long kick, and doesn’t seem to have a full game in him lately when it comes to consistent effectiveness. With his growing physicality and loss of acceleration, him coming off the bench to give Patty a rest (god knows he needs it), could be where he ends up.

He can come on, run around and ball play, and whack anyone that comes near him.

At the moment with Reynolds breaking down every game, Ezra and Hunt will likely play most of the games this year, and with no Billy or Smoothy or anyone else really in the halves, we can’t go experimenting this year (and perhaps even next year), so this is more a 2-3 year down the track thought.

Anyway, we played as well as we had to after being dragged down to their level and Sutton doing everything he could to give them the ball

Score line flattered them greatly, should’ve been about 36 or 40 to 6

Jesse did well, Verhoeven will be better for the run next week after getting the nervous energy out (not that he was bad really)and Patty just keeps on keeping on. We really need to find a way to give him a break

I though mam was pretty good if your thinking of him as a lock forward I don’t think that’s the go it’s either 6 or 14 even though when we needed exra to stand up he did

hannay blaming the loss on there forward pass call is why the titans will never improve.

you are going to get shit calls in games. the good teams still overcome that.
titans had a ridiclous amount of ball and calls go there way all night.

had high hopes for hanney that he wouldnt be a coach like that.
but appears i was wrong

17 infringements against us, versus 8.

Faux germo pushing the forward pass narrative and Hannay eating it up.
