POST GAME [Round 5, 2026] - Broncos vs Titans

I recall this thread.

I'm shocked that you don't love his shenanigans given the carry on of your favourite member on his own social media haha
Hahaha if Reece got stood down we would be in trouble, people can actually get to him. Nobody can touch the other guy. I only whinge about Reece’s behaviour because I care about him deeply.

You never know. I still think it's very unlikely however, all it takes is one dejected player in the squad to leak the info and the whole operation gets blown. This could mean they either are given PEDs without being told which is an extremely messy lawsuit considering every new designer performance enhancer isn't FDA approved. If penrith were to be using peptides it would have to be a few players on their own merit, it would be the only way that information would never get leaked, even then if nrl follows protocols they are supposed to they would get popped for it and be aware. It's a big conspiracy to suggest that nrl simply detect PEDs in certain players and turn a blind eye, a risky game for not much reward. Hate to admit it but the penrith dynasty is most likely just from good coaching and discipline. Sharks were caught of peptide use when it was new and they believed they could get away with it, they got busted most likely because rumors circulated and more strict testing was implemented afterwards. I think with how advanced they are in detecting things these days you will most likely never get a repeat of that situation unless a new designer drug is released that is completely undetected in blood test results (doesn't show weird levels comparable to PED usage) and if this drug did exist I doubt NRL would be the first to get a hold of it.

Can't remember the name, brother of a Parra top forward, played with the Sharks for a bit during the peptide years, died of cancer, there were possible (probable) links to peptides increasing cell division so may have contributed to his relapse. All went very quiet because we know Rothfield is all sharks.

Mannah?

What else? Apart from nepo boy do I whinge about? The bw thing has become a joke, he went alright last year. 1/5 ain’t bad eh. I still call for his sacking but I’m not as serious as I used to be.

Thoughts on Shane and Kyle Flanagan?

Kyle is set to be rushed back into the side at Atkinson's expense.

Did we play on the weekend?
Levels dont even have a review of the game. Triple m nrl didnt have 1 post. Fox spent about 5 mins on us TOTAL of all their shows combined think.

Actually insane. This is what pisses us fans off. They have to write about us they said, we are a big club tjat gets clicks, anything is controversy, theres always pressure. Well wtf then! Not as if broncos fans dont click on game reviews.

CONEHEAD and all his mates can **** right off. League of inches, broncos bulletin, penalty broncos and cast patrol (when not talking gambling) are the only ones we should be listening to.

Levels do, they just ****ed up the chapters and didn’t split half of them

It’s about halfway into the Cows v Dragons segment as it was the game that preceded ours

I think i can help a little.
Very good blood supply compared to most ligaments. If clean enough tear and no other ligaments, together with a brace and little to no movement initially (just bed exercises with a range of motion brace locked) can allow for scar tissue to stick it together then it will heal.
Modern medicine/surgery is amazing to me in that we have now realised that our body is designed to heal itself. We have gone from "we need to fix it" to "how can we let the body fix it", and this one is a great example.
How, though!

One half of the ligament is flapping that way and the other one is the other way! How does the body know to join it back together?

Or is it like a bone and it genetically just knows to restich?!

This had me wondering too.

I was hoping that along with the slick new haircut........he had also matured a little.

sigh........ 😞

He's got the social media game well and truly worked out, unfortunately. It's a flaw (or an advantage, if you're Reece Walsh) of his generation.

I actually thought Walsh’s YouTube bit on his pre and post operation was really interesting.
We don’t give these players enough credit for what they go through. A massive injury Friday night, initial care and then back in for surgery and beginning of recovery on Monday.
For us average Joes, this would be a major life event but these players are doing this every weekend.

If they were "flapping" around and not close together it wouldn't be possible. Just like a displaced (not inline/together) vs non-displaced (together/in-line) fracture. Displaced fractures require a closed reduction (physically pushing it back into place) and/or an open reduction and internal fiaxtion (plate and screws typically), whereas non-displaced or "stable" fractures can mend themselves with time and progressive weight-bearing.

Bit of word mess. Hope that helps anyway.

It’s Grade 3. Total tear through the ligament. Isn’t that the same as flapping
