Haha, we have the third worst 'points for' record in the comp and we're top of the table!

Living it up.

We're on top of the table because we have conceded 24 points less than any other team in the competition.

best second half defence in the comp!!!!

Yes, I realise that. I was merely pointing out how amazing it is to be there through scoring such a small amount of points.

People normally say, it don't matter how much the opposition scores, as long as we score more than them.
Well, this is a case of: it don't matter how good the opposition's defense is, as long as our's better! icon_thumbs_u

More like "it doesn't matter how few points we score, we'll stop them scoring more" :P

But, I do think our attack is due to click. Signs were better in the second half. It would definitely help if we didn't have Tronc in the team. He's just too slow and we get no momentum when he's out there.

loving it. 1st place baby!! Massive fucking props to the team this yr. I said I dont care if we play shit, as long as the attitude and effort is there, and it has been this yr, so **** yeah, mad props.

Just win ffs

Perhaps you should say something on the lines of WIN MASSIVELY FFS cause it seems while your efforts are working a slight nudge to an impressive win would be great.

Dodds in for Hunt.

Extended bench with Carlaw, Kenny and Norman.

EDIT: Copley still on the wing...he'll be up against Uate...s**t

Yeah, not exactly looking forward to Copley V Uate. Newcastle score plenty off kicks.

Not a huge fan of anyone on that extended bench. Can't see where Norman would play, he doesn't have the defense for hooker.

He might not, but Wallace may.

Don't know about Kenny, but Carlaw was easily Wynnum's best on the weekend in a well beaten side. Was making a heap of tackles and making metres with every run.

Yeah I agree about Carlaw he was definitely putting in a solid effort considering how poor Wynnum were, I wouldn't mind giving him an opportunity.

dale copley should not be on the wing dane gagai should be there looks much more dangerous ball in hand and handling wise would only get better. This kid is a future STAR

He played on Friday in Toyota Cup.

I hope our back three (whoever they may be) have been taking plenty of catching practice [icon_pray.
