It was about 25 mins in the first half in the bullcrap Rapana lashing out with his feet penalty. Kikau dived at him on the ground with his shoulder and elbowed his head.

TPJ would have been rubbed out for weeks if he did that tackle.

yeh i recall that one. Penrith ended up getting the penalty for Rapana retaliating, and when the ref sent it upstairs he was convinced Rapana had lashed out and kicked someone and he thought this is what started the mallee. He can be heard saying something like 'tell me I'm wrong but I think Rapana lashes out with his feet. How they said nothing about Kikau leading with his shoulder is beyond comprehension. the commentators as well decided to ignore it. I mean we're all seeing this at home, we can make up our own minds. Just because the commentators do not comment on it does not make the incident Not happen!

The NRL will see their viewing figures decline but by then it will cost them years and millions of dollars to recapture that lost audience (if ever). I'm sick of seeing blatant acts go unpunished and unreported. It's killing the game for me.

Me too. Some of the discrepancies are inexplicable.
Fair play to Ricky Stuart's coached team. If Kikau had been hit with the same careless swinging arm he would have stayed down, got the penalty, may have had the opponent sin binned and then if he failed the HIA his team would have been able to use the 18th man.

Because Ricky has so far resisted telling his guys to play act he was denied the use of his 18th man to replace CNK when he went off with the HIA and failed to recover.

In the Storm game Kikau was pushed in the dying minutes of the game he went down like he'd been poleaxed and lay motionless hoping for a penalty to end the game, but because the ref waved play on he had a quick peek and jumped to his feet and got across to save the try. We all saw it, yet all the commentators could scream was how miraculous the try saving tackle was. Yet seconds before the guy tried to cheat in full view of everyone at home. Shit like that just grinds my gears.

My other bug bears are the phantom 6 again (no accountability or comment by commentators) and players like Parra's big forward Paulo rolling the ball when he gets to his feet. He does it every time yet the ref's NEVER see it. Neither do the commentators. Same as players stepping off the mark. Panthers did it all night last night, but Vlandy doesn't want to see penalties in the game so the refs let it go.

Upton Sinclair once said 'It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.' This is exactly how our ref's and TV commentators are behaving. Their jobs depend on them not seeing these discrepancies from certain teams. However, we all see it at home and if this shit continues they'll all end up having no job as the product is being weakened, diluted and changed into something they think TV executives want in the hope of a bigger TV deal at the next bargaining round.

The reckon the next generation are becoming so anal retentive and their attention span has dropped drastically. However, it doesn't mean they can't spot a fake, contrived product when they see one. NRL need to seriously sort their contrived biased shit out quick. If not I know one person who'll be walking away from the whole carry on.

That's what happened in the GF last year. I reckon the Panthers will crumble under pressure if the other older sides are given the same leeway they usually get come the business end of the season.

If we are gonna be honest, Fifita is worth a try/try assist at least per game. The games against souths and Melbourne probaby doesn't make a difference but i wonder if we have him this year do we beat the eels and titans?
