Keep it simple like Tits 2nd half, use our pack and we'll be fine. You do that while completing high and points will come in this version of the NRL.

We've still got strike weapons too. Big month+ for Ezra/Shiba/Staggs

I said during the week the rest of the season will be a very important period for Ezra’s Broncos career and when the generals went off and it came time to look around and see who will get us over the line he kicked right into gear and took the game away from them very quickly. Not perfect in a lot of areas still but he awoke his running and threat game, which is what his asset to this team is so I’m happy. Will have to continue to step up over the next few weeks despite some niggles.

Arthurs not a good fullback option imo. He ran out of steam running the ball last year and he was on the wing he will get killed from a few weeks at fullback. Hayze is natural at the position and the obvious pick for me

Would love Madge to unleash mozer at some point after these injuries
 
I’m not sure how many more groin injuries ARey has in him. lol I did read he’s out for 1-2 games? Surely Mozer gets some sort of run now… surely…

Arthars had a good game but he can have an amazing game then worst game of his life lol But hopefully him not being the first pick makes him keep the consistency of playing well!

Fullback is the concern because Walsh has been papering over the deficiencies in our spine and his positional defence went from below par to premiership-winning over the course of 2025. Jesse can fill in the gap and is a fairly decent ball carrier but he won't make up for Reynolds having two broken legs and Paix being a routine shoveller.

The paradox in all this is if Ezra steps up to the level we need him - and he must for us to win - he will be a cert for Origin camp. And we can't afford to lose him over that period either.
 
The 6 man bench could really, really help us in this game. Take out jaiden hunt or tawha then we have an extra option if arthurs is fatiguing or shitting the bed. We havent needed them this year in any of our wins, used tawha once for 15 mins but didnt need him for sure. Haas, carrigan and willison can play bloody long minutes (even a full game) if any middles go down or even if an edge goes down and willison needs to shift. Bit harsh on verhoven but perham gives us more cover with our current situation.

We could carry a bench of:
14. Mozer
15. Willison
16. Talty
17. Tawha/j hunt
18. Perham
19. Duffy (if arey "fit" just in case with his groin)/rogers (if duffy 7).

Would just need 1-2 weeks of it to build up the fb and halves to full 80 or get the mix right.

Also, crazy to think either perham or duffy will be bronco no.300.... will make for a good bit of pub trivia in a few years time.
 
Semu will be needed off the bench I'd say, if the halves are new every second of extra time will be gold. Semu has improved and his PTB can be attacked off and he's the only forward that Duffy has played with before.

He's played with Shibasaki and Gosiewski too.
